Louise Barco Allrich is formerly the director and president of The Allrich Gallery, a fine art gallery in San Francisco. As director of the gallery, she curated numerous exhibitions in different media and periods. Additionally, she has been a guest lecturer at over fifty major museums and universities, such as M. H. de Young Museum, San Francisco; The Los Angeles County Museum; The School of the Chicago Art Institute; and the Houston Fine Arts Museums. Especially well known for her expertise in contemporary American craft, she has written articles for national magazines and contributed to catalogues on this subject. She has been a guest curator for different institutions and has been a juror for numerous prestigious organizations including the National Endowment for the Arts as well as a trustee and consultant for arts non-profits.

In the last 30 years, Louise Allrich has managed well over one hundred commissions for corporations and architects around the world from Hong Kong to Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, she has assembled large art collections for hotels, high tech companies, and corporate offices. She has also managed major "Percent for Public Art" projects and acted as an expert consultant for a new international city and their proposed art plan. She is knowledgeable in all phases of public art project management and valuation.

Louise Allrich received her BS in Design from the University of California, Davis and is an Accredited Senior Appraiser in Fine Art with the prestigious American Society of Appraisers. She has extensive coursework in art history. She holds an Appraisal Studies Certificate in Fine & Decorative Art from the University of California, Irvine in association with the American Society of Appraisers. She holds Certificates of Achievement from the American Society of Appraisers in Personal Property Valuation; Personal Property Appraisal Methodology - Research, & Analysis; Report Writing; Insurance, Appraisers & the Law; Personal Property Valuation – The Legal & Commercial Environment; Charitable Contributions and Estates. Additionally, she has participated in two IRS seminars on charitable contributions. She is USPAP tested and is currently on the Board of the Northern California/Nevada Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers.
